This is our third consecutive year at Fool Hollow. We intentionally visit there before Memorial Day or after Labor Day to avoid the crowds from Phoenix in between these dates. The Price has risen from $20 to $25 per day full hookup as of 1 April this year, but it's still worth it. Bath room (actually suits) are immaculately cleaned 3 times a day. Camp Hosts are friendly, helpful and attentive. We WILL return again.

This RV park is closed and being converted into a housing area. It is not, and will not be available any more.

This is still a superb State Park campground. The grounds are maintained meticulously as are the facilities. We routinely camp BEFORE Memorial Day and AFTER Labor Day to avoid the crowds, but this time both of the weekends that were part or our stay, the CG was full. Still the staff kept up with everything. Clean bathrooms, clean streets, and never a trash overflow. This is a credit to AZ. Other parks in the state should take note. Will return this fall, AFTER Labor Day. :)

Brand new CG, just celebrated their 1st anniversary. Superb facilities and service. Landscaping immature at this point, but, if maintained properly, this CG will be an easy 10. All the good things said below are true. Also missed the entrance because it is not well marked, but found an easy turn-around. I didn't get upset about it. Will definitely stay here again if in the neighborhood. Excellent park, LOTS of room.

We did an "over-nighter" here because it is 1/2 way between Page, AZ and home. Glad we did. His is a nice park. This is a nice park and worth the stay. It is clean, well maintained and big rig friendly. Long, wide slots available just about any time of the year. The manager is especially friendly and accommodating. The pool just reopened after a major overhaul, the laundry room is neat, and clean. There are many planned activities and short-term customers are encouraged to participate. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Over-all a pleasant experience. 100 pull-thru sites big enough to handle anything. Separate tenting area. Well groomed grounds, manicured and clean sites and nice a wide (30+ feet). No fire rings in RV area, but a community fire ring every night. Five minute walk to the river, and the fishing, by all accounts, is still good. Neighbor caught 3-15+lb salmon the day after we arrived. Laundry room with 4-washers ($1.50) and 4 dryers (.75); clean and neat. Quiet and peaceful as this is just post-Memorial Day. Lots of typical tourist traps and things to see. Will return if in the area again!!

Nice park, but not our cup of tea. Long, wide sites with all utilities including 60 channels of clear cable, and on-site wifi. Actually they have 3 nodes that cover the park well. As to "cup of tea" we prefer a bit more rustic. This is a very well developed park with hedgerows between each site for privacy, but it is tightly packed. Not in contrast to above, sites are large, but there is no wasted space. For those who like a hotel like atmosphere with all the amenities, this will be just great. Will take the largest rigs easily. Enjoyed the stay.

Nice place. Wide, deep, level slots. Lots of room for dogs to walk, limited cable TV. Staff friendly and helpful whin I blew a trailer light; actually took me to NAPA to get the part. Comfortable, clean, accessable. Will return again if in the area.

Good CG located out in the middle of nowhere. Collocated with the Wildhorse Casino. Large, wide, level sites. Big rig friendly. Good restaurant in casino. No Cable TV, but several over-the-air TV stations available. Good layover site, cheap and you'll likely make up for the low site costs with a donation to the casino. Good luck here. A very pleasant stay over spot.

Large, nice, rustic CG. This might not be everyone's choice, but it is just up our alley. Large, wide, shaded sites most with full service. No cable TV, but a couple of over the air channels available. (reception dependent on location) Well treated at reception, and nicely appointed facilities. The whole Ruby's facility is nice especially the camping/food store. We were very happy there. If you MUST have, on-site, internet AND a bazillion cable channels look elsewhere. We have 2 large dogs and there was plenty of space to walk and exercise them - that is a PLUS for us. We will return here, definitely!!!

Nice little CG. Mostly pull-thru's with adequate width to extend awning and not impinge on you neighbor. Convenient to Zion National park. NO on cable is true but we got over 10 over-the-air channels including all the major networks. WIFI worked quite well at our site, slowed a bit during peak hours but still adequate. Nice little pool, good service, staff helped plan our trip to Zion. Good water pressure, stable power. All-in-all a nice place to spend a few days while exploring. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice little park. New free wifi, strong and fast. A little tight, but OK, even for big rigs. Well appointed RV supply store and close to local stores including a Super Walmart. Free paper, courteous staff, clean and well maintained. Intended an over-nighter, but got weathered in. Some road noise, but in the cool of September, with windows closed, not noticeable. Warmer weather and open windows might be a bit different. Liked it here, would over-night here again as there are few opportunities or options in northern Utah.

Ok overnighter close to I5. Previous evaluation mentioned all the amenities. Quiet enough even though close to the highway. Owners friendly and helpful. Would consider this stop in the future if passing through.

I believe that the previous reviewers did this CG an injustice. I found the staff cheerful and friendly, and especially knowledgeable about Lake Powell fishing which I took advantage of. The park is clean and the staff diligent. They started early in the morning and kept working all day. Our site offered some shade, but then it is the desert and allowances must be made for that. It is difficult and expensive to cultivate large shade trees in this environment as is lush green grass. The park is clean and quiet. It does not offer a lot of activities, but the surrounding area should be enough to keep most people entertained for several days. See the lake, visit it's beaches, take either/both water or land tours available. We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 days we stayed here. Stayed entertained, and relaxed as we desired without interruption. We will stay here again in the future as we have family in the area and enjoyed the time we spent here.

Nice park on Clear Lake, Nice CA. Part of the park directly on the lake, part across the street. Manager friendly and helpful when needed. Generally well maintained and clean. Arrived at the end of the Memorial Weekend exit and our spot was already prepped. Good fishing on the lake. Very small, rocky beach. Comfortable quiet and relaxing after 3 days on the road. Stayed 3 days. Would stay again if passing through.

This was our Maiden Voyage with our new 5'er and we were exceptionally pleased. For a state operated facility this campgroud is superlative. Sites are large and widely spaced. There is no attempt to maximized utilization. Sites are level and easily accessable for even the largest rigs. Some sites a doubles to allow small groups to share a single site with individual hookups, no sharing necessary. The lake is beautiful and several sites are right on the lake. Fishing was good. We will be eating smoked trout for some time. The privacy, and quiet was just the thing for the week we spent there. The CG was sparsely populated while we were there, but we chose this on purpose. The CG is reportedly very busy while school is out during the summer. It is only about 2 hours from Phoenix and the high altitude is a welcome relief from Phoenix's 110+ degree summers. Each loop has excellent, well maintained bathroom suites (I.E Private toilet, sink, and shower). Off site you must try Charlie Clarks Steakhouse in Pinetop about 15 miles away. Superb menu including wild game, venison, buffalo, quail and walleye. We are already planning a return trip to this CG after Labor Day and the kids go back to school.

This is my first review and our first trip out with our first RV in over 30 years. This was our shakedown cruise close to home. The only reason that this is not a 10 is that we don't have anything to compare it to. The staff here seems to be mostly longterm residence but they are excellent. We were warmly greeted, escorted to our site, and helped to back in. Our escort even took time to sit down with us concerning campground ettiquette and local rules. This campground is immaculate. Every site is raked and cleaned and prepped before a new RV is sited on the lot. Lots are wide (40 foot+) and deep. Facilities excellent and clean. Access to I10 is easy but the resort is far enough away from the highway to be quite. Very little shade, and immature trees, but you are in the high Sonora Desert. $19 cost represents a Military/Military Retiree Rate for the rest of you Old Soldiers.
